SUPERMOTO STUNT RIDER

Interview

Where do you live?

I live in Malmö, Sweden. But prefer to be on the road to my next adventure.

How old are you?

I am born in June 1993, now 30 years old.

When did you start riding?

I saved money and bought a monkeybike when I was 10. That was my first bike but I was only allowed to ride it in our summer house.

How did you learn to stunt?

When I was not able to ride the monkeybike I was bicycling. I practiced wheelies and when I turned 15 years old I bought a Yamaha Slider to continue the training.

Where do you ride?

Me and my friends used to ride on every spot we could find. Old parking lots and empty industrial areas. Nowadays we practice our sport at the parking lot of Malmö Raceway dragracing.

Do you ride the bike to the spot?

Sometimes it is fun to ride the streets, but most of the time I use my van. I enjoy stunt riding more and that should be performed at closed locations.

Favorite trix?

I love the feeling of nohanders. Hands in the air and all the control with only foot brake. I also hold the world record for longest nohands wheelie ever.

Have you ever crashed?

Oh yes, many times! I can not even count. Luckily, the bike is doing well. Pegs and sliders save it from scratches. However, when I run stunt shows I never try new trix only do the things I am sure about.

Any injuries?

Back in 2009 I broke my leg. Stoppies are the most dangerous trix in our sport. Otherwise, stunting is pretty safe compared to many motorsports because of the low speed.

Elliot's career on two wheels started with this Suzuki PV50 when he was ten years old. He was riding it all day at the summer house. The model is really rare in Sweden and it is 100% street-legal.
